Swam for an hour, went well except that my arms got sore the last ten minutes and really hurt. Finished the swim okay but opted out of my ab exercises because of the pushups I usually do. Good workout, but looking forward to a real day off tomorrow :)

Hour-long swim went well...wanted to swim longer but forgot to eat lunch and got too hungry. It was nice being in the competition pool for once but that water was COLD. Had fun so that's what counts :)

Only swam a half hour today, got kicked out of the pool by the swim team, who had the entire other pool as well so there was nowhere for me to go. Was not very happy AT ALL. But, half hour is better than nothing. Will make it up later.

Stress fracture recovery, day 2 went well. I love swimming, so an hour swim was awesome. I've never done hour swims back to back days, my arms are sore. Could only do 25 pushups today, arms hurt more than yesterday and it hurt my hip to do it on one leg. Really need to get motivated to do more ab workouts, but so tired when I get home. I tighten my abs when I swim to make sure I'm targeting that area, but still need to work on that area. Great day! :)

Sports physician said I have a stress fracture in the fibula in my left leg, no running for 6 weeks. The first 3 weeks I spend swimming, next 3 biking or on the elliptical, and then I can start up running every other day, starting with a half-mile and if that doesn't hurt, move up. I'm lucky that I'm not on crutches. SO, today starts my recovery from this injury. Hour-long swim went great, could've gone longer but because I can't EVER swim in the competition pool due to school swim team practice, I got stuck in the leisure pool and a bunch of people kept getting in my way. I got sick of it and stopped. Hit the hot tub, was going to do 15 minutes of ab exercises but instead settled on 50 pushups (on one leg, not trying to hurt myself). Good workout :)
