Since coming back to class I have gotten the suicide, fallen angel, dragonfly. Yay!

We worked on a routine. This week's move that gave me the jitters was the straight legged suicide. I did it for a few seconds when Shelly spotted me but I was a scaredy cat when I tried it on my own.

Look ma no hands -- I finally did the dragonfly and let of my hands! My new move I'm afraid to let go the pole is the fallen angel. LOL

New moves I learned tonight were the dragonfly (very pretty but terrifying to let go of my hands), flipping from while in the air, headstand, some combos: Spinning V to sunwheel to fireman and spinning peter pan into the fallback (which I kept forgetting to reverse my body after reversed my hand!) Super class!

Cinnamon was back teaching class, yay! First we did exercises to build up our endurance. We did intervals of holding up our bodies up using only our arm strength, from the ground and at the top of the pole. We did the same practicing our open V. I am still trying to get the fallen angel. End of the class was freestyle and I was not even nervous and went first. :)

My teacher keeps saying I am not wrapping my leg around the pole correctly so I get too scared to let go my hands. I've done it before when the teacher was not spotting me. I can't wait to get the extension for my x-pole so I can practice from home.
