Oy vey I have really sucked at recording my workouts lately!
The weather was perfect and since I gave my car away I had no choice but to bike it to the gym 11 miles round trip and an hour with my trainer. Can you say TIRED? OMG. I was not quite ready for it to be as hard as it was, especially the return trip which was mostly flat or downhill. Still, something like 2800 calories were burned according to the heart montior so that is nothing to sneeze at. Of course, my weight today was up because of such a heavy workout but I feel surprisingly good...my knees...well, they will eventually forgive me. I figure that was 1/7th of a daily ride when I was at my peak in my 20's. I figure in 40 year old numbers, that was like 1/3 of what peak will be ;-)

I am really suffering with this working from home "chairitis". I find myself stuck to this chair for more hours a day I get paid for and burning this beautiful Spring sunlight instead of being out in it and active. I am working on setting up my bike treadmill in front of my PC so I can at least peddle and work at the same time. Does anyone else have this issue, and if so, how have you solved your "chairitis"?

10 miles on the bike, 30 minutes on the stair master and an hour with the trainer on weights. Yeah, I feel good 1200 calories later.

1300 cals burned but OMG did Trey kick my sorry butt all over the gym! I really didn't think it was possible to have a heart rate of 205 and NOT go into cardiac arrest. I spent more time above zone 5 than I did in any other zone.
