During the day I did a 45min set on upperbody freeweights and 15 min on the heavy bag and jump rope then last night I went training the running club and did some speed and hill work , we covered 11k

I missed my long run on Sunday so i promised myself that I was going running Monday evening no matter what . As it happened Dublin was hit with some of the worst rain ever recorded in one day , the news reported that we got one months worth of rain in 24hrs, but that wasnt going to stop me. I got my waterproof jacket and hat on and off I went , it only took about 3 minutes for me to be soaked through , but you can only get so wet and then its like a wet suit , you warm up and dont care anymore. Anyway I did my 10k . At times I was running in 8" of flood water , which was a new experience , but I have to say I really enjoyed it.

I don't know if this is true in Dublin, but over here someone doing a 10K in the rain is considered a true bada$$, especially if it's cold. Excellent job!

We are not used to that sort of waterfall here so we got the flood warning this morning when half the city in waterlogged. Even if we got a warning last night I still would have gone out because it's the way I am. Renae says its bada$$ , my wife thinks im nuts , I just think I love to run

I did a 5k race in the grounds of a local college , I finished in 20.42 , not a PB but im still happy enough.
