I was pretty surprised this am that, after Karen, and 90 DU's and 30 dips and pull-ups that I didn't have one sore muscle - 5 hours later - not so much - this one may really hurt by tomorrow - foam roller - you will be my new best friend

Any people from Toledo...my leg is injured and I think it's because I've been training on pavement. I tried to look for gravel trails at Swan Creek (the Airport Highway side) and I discovered they're all closed off today. Anyone know if the ones on Glendale are open??? Or of any other gravel paths close? Wildwood has some but that's too far away from me.

SO walking with crutches should be an olympic sport. Holy crap. My shoulders and abs hurt from it. I had a bone scan today, and there is a "spot of interest" haven't gotten the official results back yet though.

Hi! So the Crossfit games open wod 12.4 has 3 skills that I can't do. Well, that's not exactly true-- I can do wall balls, but I've never been successful really with a 14 pound ball. Here's the wod for people up to age 55+ (this means me)

As many rounds 7 reps as possible in 12 minutes:
150 wall balls (20)(14)
90 double unders
30 muscle ups

So I'll cheer for everyone at Atomic & all my Gymga crossfitting buddies who can do those things. Otherwise I'm out.... for this year. But next year, when I can do those things--- watch out!

June I'm sure the coaches will say the same thing. any score is better than no score. Barrie you have to be 55+ to get the 10 pound ball. I will probably not get past the wall balls, but if I do, if will only be by chance that I get a DU. Okay, see I probably will do something. I just thought I was out.

Current deployment is coming to an end soon, can't wait to get back home and see my wife and kids again. As far as workouts go, can't wait to start P90X2 and mix it up with Insanity/Asylum.
