Evan L. (@evan_ml) Pullups pushups curls

I haven't really done much for the @pullupchallenge so I did several sets of 4-5 overhand dead hangs. I actually got 6 on my first try, so I have improved by 1 and I managed to get 5 several times throughout the evening but the last one is always sloppy. Did 50 straight standard pushups, some sets of curls and then a few sets of various pushup techniques.

I will keep trying to do some pullups in the evening since I have been favoring the insanity workouts over the back/biceps, legs/back and chest/back from P90X. All I really do is shoulders and arms in terms of P90X resistance.

Didn't want to do this , my back feels like a jig saw puzzle from all the extra back exercises I've been doing @pullupchallenge

Made it through, feeling a little better afterwards! Not used to starting my day off with yoga it seems to be easier at night after my body is warmed up from the days activities.

Tyler get a foam roller. Even though they hurt so much they are fabulous when you finish with them. It's a very good investment!

from what I can tell p90x2 incorporates a foam roller in some way so I guess it couldn't hurt to go ahead and pick one up! Probably waiting till Friday

I was supposed to do back and biceps today but I opted for the extra cardio and still wanted to get some ab work in so I did this. I don't think that this will bode well for the @pullupchallenge but I need to burn off some goo since I haven't been eating all that spectacularly as of late and will be at a beach in two weeks.

@pullupchallenge Hey guys, I was able to doa few last night but I've been working up with neutral grip for now.. Injuries suck :( Oh well, I'll get back up there. Here's an article I came across on T-nation, http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/13064_pullups_in_5_months I know the competition is for flat bar, double overhand grip but if you're going to be doing daily pullups, he recommends rings or a neutral grip.
