Death by carbs. Since the beginning of July, I have made some significant changes in my diet, namely the addition of carbs, which replaced mostly protein shakes. While I was warned that I would likely gain a few pounds (@Tim Y.) with this change until my body adjusts, I am NOT liking what is going on, and I'm sure that the decreased level of workouts isn't helping either. My weight is still hovering at 131 pounds, but when I look in the mirror, I'm MUCH softer than I want to be, and MUCH moreso than at the end of the @abschallenge. Time for another change - I think for the month of September (at least), I'm going back to a diet more like what I was doing before, to see what happens. My body responded well to it, I wasn't tired/hungry like I am lately (partly due to puppy?), I felt stronger, and I looked so much better. Don't tell Z that his way worked better for me...

Not happy with my diet the last 40 days , coulda shoulda had better results but on a lighter note I've gained approx 16lbs (while losing inches off my waist) and quit smoking cigarettes.

Good job giving up the cancer sticks. That will will probably add more years to your life than all the working out.

I think the jury's still out. Probably depends on the goal. Not sure who was judging. Also may depend on who you ask. I did not have the best abs, but i did not expect to win. I also did not get any worse, so I met my own goal. Do i win? maybe if nobody claims the win then we will all win.

Hey Mike, not sure if you're in on it but @pullupchallenge we're trying to improve the number of consecutive pullups we can do. Any width with double overhand grip, take lots of pics and post a video in the end!

I'm probably going to pass on that one. Some wicked tendonitis in both forearms lately. Doing curls or pullups hurt. Before the tendonitis, I managed 31 in a minute. Can usually do at least 20 (full hang, then nose to bar height) in one go.
