yeah, we needed to make sure we weren't all using bars at same time. i started with pullups-did this btwn rd. 6&7- finished strong. went to kb cleans, and then the knees2elbows just irritated it more, on top of finishing off with jerks.

i always tape my hands when doing lots of pullups. for me, i blister around 90 and the tape never lasts that long. if i'm doing a hundred or so, i just need the tape to last 30-40 and usually works out fine...even if the tape gets scrunched or moves around a little. put some neosporin and a bandaid on that thing...super glue works, too!

I wear gloves - my boyfriend got me awesome leopard print ones for my birthday! I always thought it looked stupid when the girls wore gloves in the gym, but now I love and appreciate them, and what they protect my hands from!

i have gloves, but i dont like them bc i cant get a good grip on the bar, and im afraid of slipping. and tape always scrunches off =/

@zach- i bought some gloves from Dick's and they dont help my grip and i feel like im going to fall- do these help with that problem or cause the same problem?

I guess that depends on your grip, these extend out the finger to the first knuckle. What gloves did you buy from Dick's? These are a fairly standard weight lifting glove. They should help the grip a bit but mostly just protect from callouses. Consider wraps if you need help with grip strength.
